On November 11 President of Ukraine and Honorary President of Our Ukraine Party Victor Yushchenko hold a consultative meeting on minimizing negative impact of world financial crisis on social-economic situation in Ukraine and implementing of 2008 State Budget. The President stressed that he convened this meeting to ensure that State Tax Administration, Customs Service and Treasury agreed on a special order of cooperation. Our Ukraine party: dismissal of the speaker of Ukrainian parliament does not contribute to settlement of political crisis in the country

Dismissal of the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine leads to deepening of the political and economic crisis. Representatives of Our Ukraine party consider that the head of parliament has still a number of functions to fulfil, which are extremely important under current political and economic circumstances. As Chairman of Our Ukraine faction Vyacheslav Kyrylenko stressed that absence of the parliament's chairman makes it impossible to pass submitted social anti-crisis draft laws. He underlined that Our Ukraine does not support Arseniy Yatsenyuk's dismissal and considers it as an attempt to destabilize the situation in the parliament once again.

As Volodymyr Vyazivskyi, Our Ukraine MP, also told, the parliament must urgently consider and pass the state budget of Ukraine for 2009 as well as other legal acts necessary to settle political and economic crisis. But any legal acts cannot come into affect without

signature of the chairman of the parliament. Therefore, dismissal of A.Yatseniuk will only postpone adoption of any decision and thus deepen the crisis in Ukraine, the MP said.

The issue of the early parliament election is not as of today on top of Ukraine's political agenda

With a view of world financial crisis any format of parliamentary coalition is acceptable today, declared representatives of President of Ukraine secretariat last week. The snap poll will take place as soon as the economic situation improves, declared a source in office of the Head of Ukrainian state.

At the same time, the positive outcome of voting on the President's anti-crisis legislation in the Verkhovna Rada has indicated there are chances for political forces to unite in the face of the economic crisis. Today any format of parliamentary majority is acceptable - either a broad democratic coalition, or a coalition of 300 and more votes. Economic challenges demand high-quality and urgent anti-crisis decisions from parliament, the source in office of the President pointed out, noting that the forces supported the President's anti-crisis legislation, may be regarded as partners in a new coalition.
